How the artists see me

Artists read this!

Heh. Okay so you didn't need to click the nose, any part of the picture works the same way!
Anyway, here's a couple of pictures. Okay, parts of them, but there are links to the full images!

This is the first picture someone drew of me. Click the picture or this link for the original JPEG file [267783 bytes] I got from the artist (A nice raccoon-part-wolf called Mark Vega BTW [See below for the link to his new site. Further down. Further. Gee, I've got quite a collection now haven't I?], or this one for a smaller GIF file [21916 bytes] I made for those with lesser screen resolutions (like myself!) who like to see more of the picture on screen at a time (like guess who?).
(See below for some smaller files.)
And here is Mark's vision of me about half a year later. This time there's no smaller version (it's already smaller) or numerous copies with different compressions ;) but I made a b/w version in ILBM format to print it out, and I include it here in case any Amiga users should happen by. <g> (Actually I think they've been here already, the statistics show a couple of users with "Other" browsers and operating systems...)

Still needs work if you ask me. Remind me to spray my hairdresser... ;)
(BTW, this is the picture Mark and I discussed (?) in one of my logs... You'll understand (??) the bit about being red when you come to the descriptions following the link below.)

A new mil... okay, century is dawning, and Mark started it with drawing me again! All good things are three they say!

This picture (click the thumbnail!) is pretty big again so I whipped up a smaller version before breakfast. (Now I only have five impossible things to do before going to Milliways... ;))

The cub's getting there. I like the hair better, and the clothing actually matches my winter description (link below) to some extent. He's made me look a bit more human though, and the pose looks a bit strained, like I'm making an effort not to spray him. ;)

Wow! Mark changed his style drastically! No wait, silly me, it's a new artist! Piccillo is the name, drawing skunkettes is obviously the game. And look, he taught me to pose too! Tiffany Tiger had better watch her tail! ;)

Talking of tails, this seems to have been a Bad Tail Day for yours truly. What's it doing up there, for one? The rest of the details are OK, only I kind of picture my tail ring (here drawn for the first time!) as a bit wider and thicker. But what do I know? Do you humans have any idea how hard it is to look properly at one's own tail root?!?

It never rains in Southern California... No, wait, wait, I mean it never rains but it pours! Another picture from another hand. This one and the body it's attached to are collectively known as Bander.

I like this one. Apart from some silly little details that got left out I can't really think of anything to pick on. And I got to pose with a background too. I hope I can show you a "proper" color picture soon...

Ooookay, so much for the Sunday look, back to the wild side! Here is Powser's impression of me. Well, first impression. He did this while he and I and some others were chatting on Furry one day. He's fast. No wonder mice are so hard to catch!

This is a half figure, so it's the first picture of me not including my tail. Feels a bit cold back there...
Feels a bit cold up front too in fact. This is definitely not my winter outfit! One thing I should perhaps mention about now is the tendency furry artists (the guys in particular) have to picture femfurs as busty. I'm not really - the reason my descriptions don't make a big number of my figure is that it does not involve any big numbers (or figures) and particularly no letters from the middle or end (sheesh!) of the alphabet. That is in fact another way Mark is getting there. Think A, or at most B.

A little walk, a little talk...
A new year, with 2 2's in its number - how appropriate of Mark to draw the 2 of us together! ;) The picture lurking behind the thumbnail link is shrunk down from the original which you can find on Mark's new site.
*muted whispers* Okay, okay... sheesh!
My player says I have to say this, it's in my contract. *ahem*
"You may notice that the thumbnail image is shrunk even further; this is to get our hands into the picture so you can actually *groan* click on our thumbnails."
Hey, I didn't write this, okay? And the filename for the thumbnail certainly wasn't my idea!

Can I go now?

Wait a minute... what "contract"????
In January 2003 Piccillo held a party to celebrate the anniversary of his art school. Quite a number of furs showed up for the occasion, and the host spent quite some time sketching all of us, including some late comers. Here's me chatting with Arnak (center) and Tylyddar.
The rest of the party pictures can be found here.
Have you noticed that Piccillo is the only one who has drawn me facing right? Okay, so Mark drew me facing right and looking left, but looking at the others you'd think there was something really interesting out there in the margin!
Never mind, here's another work from the talented paws of Mark. Just when you thought he couldn't make me any cuter, he went and put a heart shaped spot on my face! ;)

What's wrong (?) with these pictures? ;)

Well, why not try to figure it out fur yourself? Take a look at my descriptions from FurryMuck and see what details you can find missing/added! ;)
The last descriptions also explain why I'm using a foxfur background on my site...

NOTE! I recently (November 2003) started working on a new version of this section. It's far from finished yet but a bit more organized (I wish!). You can find what I have done so far here.

Or just go back to my main page!

(I tried converting the first picture with different compressions. Check these! (25% was the smallest file I got, higher compressions produced identical files)
