Oh well. :P I'm Skunkie, and you were  curious enough about me to type
twelve letters and a space. Hope you won't be *too* disappointed. <g>
My history starts with  a  different  character...  No, not me, but my
alt. [Okay, technically I'm the  alt  because  I came last, but that's
how *I* like to think of it!] It was as that character I discovered my
first TRaM device. [If you don't  know  what a TRaM device is, page me
some time and I'll be happy to show you a few. In fact I'll be tickled
pink, which is quite an  achievement  considering  my fur is  red  and
white! (Pause to slap self. Concentrate, girl, concentrate!)]

Anyways, the third TRaM device I found was a wishing well that I tried
a few times before I got tired of random  morphing and did as the doc-
tor (That is, I left the well alone). Until one day a bunch of players
were in the neighborhood and one  of  them mentioned that the well had
some new morphs in it! I started experimenting again, and after a paw-
ful of tries I came out as this  cute  little  skunk I liked so much I
stored it as a personal morph and started modifying it. Later I trans-
ferred the morph to a puppet and called it Skunkie. After playing with
*that* for a while I wanted  to  get  even  closer  to the skunk, so I
tried kind of dressing up as my puppet by doing the morph and changing
my name to Skunkie. But there was still a lot of my old character sho-
wing, so I don't think I really fooled  anyone who knew me <g>. (Curi-
ously enough one of my friends  who  suddenly  found a new name on her
Watchfor list seemed to think  I  was  someone  else!!)  But I found I
liked being Skunkie, and had ideas  for  her that just couldn't be im-
plemented with a puppet or a morph, so I finally took the big step and
decided to make her  an  honorable  wom...  er,  I  mean a fullfledged
character! :P

So. Here I am, and as I said to a friend of mine the first time he met
the new me:

     "Heeeeres Skunkie! The one and only! Accept no substitutes!"

I'm busy building elsemuck, so for the time being I'm staying with a

answer! (And do hold your breath waiting. You never know with
skunks...)

Credit where Credit isn't Cash:

First of all I must of course  thank  Aragh for putting up the well in
the first place, and for putting that morph in it. I might have got an
alt eventually anyhow (for one,  it's  mighty handy (pawy?) to be able
to see yourself from outside when working on different settings!), but
it would probably have been  completely  different from Skunkie. Maybe
even boring! :P

Second, the tail ring is inspired by some of the tail jewelry found at
the TKII shop. The teleport joke is meant as a dig at all the furs who
walk around wearing pants or  skirts  with  tail holes just big enough
for the tail root to fit through, completely  disregarding the size of
the rest of the tail. :P [It  does  make  you  wonder if their clothes
were teleported on, doesn't it?]

If anyone's to be credited for the sunglasses joke it has to be (if my
memory serves me right) Millie at Toon  Furr & Fluff, who not just did
something with her sunglasses in  my  (character's)  presence, but was
sporting enough to follow up my  joke  about  her being a 'sung lass'.
