How my player sees me
(Winter Edition)

This used to be a long page with the different variants of my descriptions in chronological order, but my player thought it would be more tidy with the different bits split up over more pages. This opening page starts in the present...
Even though my winter fur comes in some time "late in November" (ten bonus points if you can pick out the literary reference!), I like to supplement it with some nice warm clothing during the cold season. Better safe than sorry, as my grandma used to say. In the summer I change to my "summer look", which you will have to return here in the summer to see. That, or keep an eye on me on the MUCK. I've got both descriptions stored both here and on me, and will switch both at the same time!

Skunkie's a striped skunk with long, glossy bicolor fur and big
blue jump-in-and-drown eyes (!).
She has finally got around to changing into her winter clothes. She still
wears a plaid skirt, but this one is longer, thicker and made of soft
warm wool. She also wears a pink turtleneck sweater with a small Amiga
logo discretely placed over her left breast and an "Intel Outside"
mark on the right shoulder, a long multicolored scarf with ends
reaching almost to her knees even though it's wrapped at least three
times around her neck, and dark blue snowboots on her feet.
Gazing at her exposed head, hands, tail and (pretty shapely) thighs you
notice that her winter fur has set in, making her even more fluffy than
usual. Between the fur and her clothes, she must be snug as a bug in a
rug, whatever THAT means!
Her new fur still has the same peculiar coloring: Apart from the usual
stripe on her head and tail, it's all fox red, except for her hands and
feet which are still black, but not quite 'skunk black'. [Look at the
'Reason' in her inventory!]
She still carries the same off-white leather purse by the strap over
her shoulder - she won't part with it, some say it's magic...
As she turns to look back at you, you catch a glimpse of something
green, and at a second look you realize she's got a twig of mistletoe
clipped to her short, fuzzy headfur.
She holds her tail upright behind her in a delicate "S" curve and it
sways gracefully as she walks about the room.
She wears no jewelry except for a plain golden band around her tail
root, fitting so snugly you'd think it was teleported on. There is
something attached to it that you can't quite make out from where
you're standing. (Try 'look Skunkie's tail' if you're really
curious.)
[Note: Look traps don't work everywhere fur some reason. If they don't,
try 'look Skunkie=tail' or whatever instead.]

Of course the inventory is not a list of links when you see it on the MUCK, but I made it like that here so you can simulate looking at my things by clicking the links. (Yes, they all have descriptions! There's even a couple of "detail descriptions" (or look traps as they are also called) you can look at (!) to find out more about; I have included links in the text.)

As any mucker knows, no character description is complete without a whiff of his or her scent, and here is what you get to read if you smell me.

Skunkie smells of strong mustelidae musk that somehow is not over powering
and yet somewhat spicy.

(Kind of boring really, at least as far as creativity is concerned. While my visual description has changed many times, that smell is the one that came with the morph I based my first descriptions on.)

And that concludes my current look/sensation, unless you're lucky enough to get a hug and find out what I feel like as well. ;-) From here you can go on and study the history of my appearance, or get aquainted with my morphs.
Or if you've had enough for now, you can even use the links at the bottom of the page to return where you came from!

Show's over.
